Minibus Courses

Course 1

Full Day- This course is designed for individuals who have had previous experience or have failed a DSA D1 Minibus Test.

Course 2

Two day course- This D1 Course is designed for individuals who have minimum experience of manoeuvring a minibus.

These courses are similar to the full day course but are designed to provide more time to learn and practice each area of training. This is necessary to reach the standard required to take the D1 Minibus test.

Course 3

Three Day course designed for individuals/ Companies and Schools who have 1 or more candidates to take the D1 Minibus Course. Please ask for our special offer.

This particular course is designed to provide more time for the candidate to learn and practice each area of training. This is necessary to reach the standard required to take the D1 Minibus Test.

Course 4

We also offer a one-day Advanced level of Driver Training for anyone who wants to drive a minibus (a vehicle containing 9-16 passenger seats). This course is also for individuals / Companies & schools that already have D1 Category on their licence but have not had the experience of carrying passengers or driven experience in a minibus for a period of time, and want to gain confidence in reversing and manoeuvring techniques.

The course covers with both theory and practical experience:

• Legal Responsibilities of a Minibus Driver,
• Passenger Safety
• Child Passenger Safety
• Defensive Driving
• Manual Handling Awareness
• Health & Safety Awareness
• Accident & Emergency Procedures
• Personal Safety for Drivers.

Minibus Driving Assessments

These courses are designed to establish your driving & reversing skills prior to booking a D1 Minibus Course, you will then be able to decide with the instructor which course suits you best.

D1+E (Minibus & Trailer)

Prior to undertaking a D1 +E, you must have a D1 Category on your licence before you can gain your +E Entitlement. This course is designed for individuals that wish to transport group outings i.e. Boys Scouts or Girl Guides etc.
